Halloween costume ideas for a couple?

My bf and I are going to a fancy dress Halloween party and want to go as a ‘couple’. We have been Frankenstein and his bride before, but can’t think of anything for this year. We are both pretty good at making costumes, as long as they’re not too complicated. It’s in England, so the costumes need to have a scary theme (unlike in US where any costume goes, I think)

Any ideas?
Some good ideas – but not many Halloween – themed ones (I like the idea of the Phantom of the Opera, but not usre how you’d do Jack the Ripper as noone knows who he was!!)
Any more spooky ones?
